I'm reveling in my new office area. Sitting in my favorite, big, comfy, soft German chair with my laptop on my lap while Chocolat plays on the big screen in front of me. Yes, I am the supreme sucker for coziness! This is my new "do" for "playing" at work.
The movie Chocolat offers soothing for the senses and for spiritual life. An acceptance and love permeates through Vianne and her daughter. The mercy they show is for the legalistic count as much as it is for the free-spirited pirates.
In these days when my intention continues to be LOVE ~ Adventure through Kindness, I love this example & that this is exactly how Jesus was when He was on Earth and continues to be as He sits on the Mercy Seat, both helping and interceding for us. ~ Bon

Bon's Icons: Anne of Green Gables & Breakfast at Tiffany's
I watched Anne of Green Gables with my Kaylin & Emily a few weeks ago. I hadn't seen it in so long and swooned over it like I did so long ago. Loved, too, that my girls were so excited about it!!!
I kinda figured out something about me. My life on 2 sides is Anne of Green Gables, an imaginer, a teacher, a writer and sandwiched in between is me as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's, my stint in independence & lostness, always with the companion of a kitty cat. Both Anne & Holly were swept up & rescued my men who loved them, just like I was!!! ~ Bon

My Allegiance to Film
And yesterday, our Emily, was camped out on our bed watching Disney's Make Mine Music, 1946. Exploding with great imagination and animation!
I just wonder why we condemn film so much, yet uphold still visual art, aural listening of music, and literature. Movies, that are well constructed, combine all of these in amazing dynamic sequences. ~ Bon
